My goodness, what a detailed explanation and set up process! I've got a cube tank at home just begging me to put some Corys in! It's crystal glass but i doubt it's as clear as yours, got that turquoise tinge as well. You're my inspiration man! Once i get my measly intern's pay, i'll get right to it!

me poor student la gotta take some time to spend on high grade stuffs. hehe. btw bro, Do ADA bright green brightly shade have the same nutrient content with seachem flourish? thinking of dosing lightly some ferts so need your guidance. me too poor to get ADA products for now. . Or should i go with wondergro macro/micro +?

Hi jig,
If its not too much trouble can you take a vid of your tank? Because i would like to know hows the flow of 2213 for a 30cm cube. I'm using eden 501 but find that the flow is really too low after a month. To do maintenance every month is too much of a chore considering its only a shrimp tank. TIA! |

I don't think it's good in the long run to reduce the flowrate of any canister with regulating valves in particular. The canisters were designed to operate at a single speed. Best is to let the flowrate be at maximum, and control turbulence by redirecting the rainbar outlet towards the glass or water surface or even increasing the size or quantity of the rainbar outlet holes.
