Trimming arowana's tail to make it grow longer?

enlarge by splitting do before.... mixed results..... sometimes no difference
lengthening by trimming probably not recommended lah,,,, my experience is sometimes fins may grow out crooked,,, |

depends on aro's gene , if the aro got big tail gene , even you dont trim will grow to a big tail
if not then what ever you do, it wont get any bigger |

heard before.. someone i know just simply tear off the whole tail... (of cos with the aro sleeping) - lower the water level because the aro cannot really swim.
when it grew back, it is much bigger and the fan out is larger also.. but risk involved also.. might not grow out nice. |

Have to depend on luck ba. If it grow back nicely n biger that gd la. Surely not 100percent guarantee. If nt everyone will start cutting aro tail
