If he respected LKY's wishes, mean demolish the house BUT "disrepectful of own our heritage". So he wanna seem as supporting LhL also.... dont forget LKY is done n buried .. LHL calling the shot. He cannot be seen dancing a different tune to the PM. This house is not classified as heritage in the first place but after the death of lky maybe classified as one. How many heritage houses also teared down n make way for new building in Spore ... and he didnt say anything. |

Not private anymore since a committe had been set....and whatever been duscussed or going to do will be kept within certain ppl. Leaving out the excutors of the estate, LWL and LHY out also no longer a private affairs.
But i am also interested is on the issues of LHL abused his power and HC giving instructions to ministers and stat board employees. One opp (forgets his name liao, only remembers him as a vote spolier in the last Presidential election)already stood out to voice out this matter too.. |

Many monuments were declared only in recent few decades, while some were demolished even before it reaches the panel who decides which are heritage. If we look at even the National Library at Bras Baseh, members of the public had asked the gov not to demolish, but they went ahead (there's also options to take the building apart piece by piece and reconstructing it elsewhere but they didn't even bother). TJS or something? Aiya noise! I couldn't be bother about what he says/do anymore since last PE when he decry the lack of time for campaigning the PE and that candidates should be given 3 months campaigning. Crap! |

Why can't rest in peace leh? He done his part, lived his life. His children want to dispute, it's no longer within his ability to care or do anything.
Let them go at each other and let the dynasty end! All dynasty will end someday. |

LHL spoke on national TV. blab blab blab.......
To be debated in Parliament on 3rd July and he promised to lift the party whip so that all members can question him without fear. Desperate position requires desperate actions....... |

Interesting to watch, has it reached the stage where we see LHY & spouse sued or prosecuted for fraud and maybe Dr Lee slapped with being naive or will we see the PM stepping down in disgrace?
If this is not wayang for the Lee Family to exit politics totally, the Lee siblings must have felt sufficiently threaten to take this course of action. TCH in finally opening up and naming the committee offered an olive branch by stating to the effect that the committee was not interested in taking action on wrong doings. He also stated that he knew LHY very well (any hidden meaning?) LHY didn't stop but continued his rebuttals and postings. Last edited by AroHong; 19-06-2017 at 11:31 PM. |
