Default Need for a wavemaker in a Frontosa tank?

hi, I'm thinking of putting a wavemaker in my Front Tank. Is it necessary or suitable to have? I'm just trying to create a more natural environment for my tank.

Is there any good recommandation for any particular brand and the price? I have seen some with night mode control as well.

Not necessary, they would prefer water flow from on top flowing(example from ohf).

I'm using a 3 ft tank with OHF. Right now I only keep 3 small fronts in it.So I Guess its sufficient from most of your comments. Thanks
