I using that same tank specs for my 5 goldfishes n 4 cory. My goldfishes abt 4 inches so far so good

My goldfish all concussed....8 died the last time this happened. I think its caused by a parasite. I actually put in 9 x 5ml of salt and about 5ml of melafix into my 2ft x 1ft x 1ft tank and the last goldfish got better overnight. Also, the goldfish did not wanna eat so I stopped feeding for about 4 days...after that ok liao. Not garuanteed to work but worth a try I think...

Oh yeah, dun move them better I think. Anyway goldfishes and koi like higher salt content.so 8 x 5ml or 9 x 5ml of salt for a 57ltr tank should be fine. also melafix doesn't harm anything but kills bacteria. Most parasites cannot tahan the higher salinity.

Ya, I got airpump with 2213 cause I cannot tahan the cleaning. Goldfish just poop SoooOooo much!!

I added some plants too but they keep ripping them out so I advise dun get any plants. Everyday I have to pick/throw/replant the plants they pull out.

Also gravels I think adds to the cleaning woes though I used them too. Can get a gravel cleaner to help though.

A pic of my fav goldfish, see closely n u will see tiny spots of ick. But now okay after 4days of intensive traetment!
