Spiny Reef Lobster
Hi Guys,
anyone kept this before ? Hope u can share your experience with me . thinking to keep one in my FOWLR. |

I've not kept them before but spiny lobsters get big and would need a big tank, at least a 3x2x2. It may pose a threat to your fishes as there is likelihood of the lobster hunting your fishes. If you have big triggers or pufferfish in the FOWLR, they may eat the lobster.

hi brother ! i also have this lobster in my tank right now , i kept mine for like about 10 months and it have already shed about 6 times , it is very easy to keep just throw in some sliced fresh prawn meat !

better to get bigger ones. sudden death can occur to young specimens when frightened. they are nocturnal and will out hunting at night with their two long wriskers. colour is brighter in young and will get dull when get older.
