in my opinion, just leave the pelvic fin as it is.

when my 26" was still a juvenile say 9", it did have experienced machiam pimples under the scales and redness around the area.

Daily wc for continuous 3 weeks and reduced feeding.

All cleared up after a month.

I cant WC for a week due to Furanol medication
