If you take a look at the back of the filter, there is a gray tube. The source is from canister.
I like small tank. Maintenance is easy. Just need to replenish water from time to time. As for the cost, I have lost tracked! Hahaha.. I guess not that much.. |

Thanks everyone! I like the HC too. They are really greeeeen. They start to grow abit yellowish at the bottom now. Getting worry now..
The one at the top right corner is the filter with green stuff. The green stuff is an 'accident'.. lol.. Indeed a very nice one. They are mini riccia.. I am not familiar with all the names of the plants.. they sound like aliens from Mars.. lol.. Pic of my tank in early stage. Taken in Aug 2007. Full of satisfaction when I see the tank from empty to a pool of greeny plants |

Cool.......thats the thing i dun understand....u mentioned u r using cannister rite? But now u mentioned theres another filter? It does look like a hang on filter to me... Or is that part of the cannister ; dun think so rite?
