Oh managed to find this on OHM judging criteria from IBC, so fyi
== overall shape appearance seems to be the key considerations, while as we know, purely for selective breeding's prespective, more OHM is normally preferred from the caudal standpoint of view

The judging of caudal is covered in our Chapter 5. A summary of the faults is listed at the end of Chapter 5.

The fish with greater than 180° spreads can be spectacular indeed. However, our criteria lists 180 as ideal. Slightly over is acceptable (preferred by myself for breeding prurposes) but regarded by some as non-symetric. It is faulted if greater than 200° (from memory - please refer to the standard).

This was a contentious subject with-in the J-Board. Some really wanted to fault anything over 180 and others felt it lent itself more to the overall circlular shape.

Hope this helps. Do not hesitate to ask if have any more questions on the judging standards.

thks bro for the input
per above it seems some judges may considered OHM a '-' fault..some is OK.
whether we agree or not that is probably a separate subject

we dont judge on it caudal only la. lots of fault need to lookout. from severe fault (-17 points )to slight fault.(-3points)

yeah, this is understood.
I believe for this topic as the question raised, it is specifically talking about caudal HM/OHM, not the others.

we cant fault the fish just bcoz its ohm. i bring this issues up coz youre asking how we judge on ohm. IBC chapter 5 General standard have the guide line on caudal fin. as long theres no severe fault we will proceed to next level of fault system again on its caudal.

Cadual fin that SLIGHTLY exceed 180 spread are NEITHER FAVOURED nor FAULTED.

Below are the judging criteria for cadual fin -

1. Caudal edges straight but slightly rounded at the corners (slight fault).
2. Doubletail lobes are full, but separation not quite complete – separation still greater than 3/4
(slight fault).
3. Caudal asymmetrical - droops slightly below midline (minor fault).
4. Doubletail lobes slight mismatch (minor fault).
5. First caudal edge rays short (minor fault).
6. Caudal slightly small - not proportional to dorsal and anal (minor fault).
7. Caudal edges not straight, slightly curved back away from head (minor fault).
8. Less than secondary branching (4 tips from primary ray) in females, or tertiary branching (8 tips
from primary ray) in males (minor fault).
9. Less than 180 degrees between caudal edge rays, but more than 165 degrees (minor fault).
10. Doubletail caudal lobes separation between 1/2 and 3/4 (minor fault).
11. Caudal asymmetrical - droops 75% or more below midline (major fault).
12. Caudal very small - not proportional to dorsal and anal (major fault).
13. Doubletail lobes considerable mismatch in volume or shape (major fault).
14. Doubletail caudal lobes matched, but narrow (major fault).
15. Less than primary branching (2 tips from primary ray) in females, or secondary branching
(4 tips from primary ray) in males (major fault).
16. Doubletail caudal lobes separation 1/2 or less (major fault).
17. Less than 165 degrees between caudal edge rays, but more than 150 degrees (major fault).
18. Doubletail caudal lobes mismatched and narrow (severe fault).
19. Non-symmetrical caudal type (severe fault).
20. Less than 150 degrees between caudal edge rays (severe fault).

Hope this helps.
Cheers
