Default How to wash & clean medias?

My tanks was totally wipe out from food poisoning.Now want to re-cycle the tank should I use hot water to wash my ANS mini BH or how should I claen them?

Restart all over. Recycle your tank is the most appropriate method.

soak in hot water n sun it, recycle like new tank setup

Whatever is economically viable to replace, replace. Whatever is too expensive, just wash it clean, sun-dry it and re-use. I generally just rinse my decommed medias in running tap water, then put them out to sun before storage.

Thanks for all advise. I did soak them with hot water but I sun dry and re-use it.
