Default Questions on highblow 20

Just bought a hb20. The shop don't have an 8way splitter, so I install a 6way one. Is this ok for a pump of this power?

Another observation, I notice the side of the pump body is quite warm. Not scorching, but warmer compared to normal conventional air pumps. Is this normal? Should I let more pressure escape?

Default Hi Blow air pumps

Dear all;

Pardon me but may i enquire why this Hi Blow pump is highly sought after within the fish community?

There must be something special tat makes the fanatics go ga-ga..

I am new into air pump matters as all along i am using AC/DC pump.

Do shed some light.

Thanks for the reassuring replies. Hi blow is power and durable. Yet silent. Hence it is highly sought after. Just buy one and you might not need to concern yourself with air pump issues forever after!

Bro, before you purchase any hi-blow. Please take note of your tank size as its air flow is very strong. If your tank is 5ft or 6ft, hi-blow baby is sufficient.

bro thee_boss, 6way splitter shld be ok. u do not need to be overly concerned abt the slight warmth of the pump. its natural that any pump/motor/engine heats up during operations.
bro stevenwong7, hiblow is one of the most durable yet silent airpumps in the market.
