just bought hailea HC-300A from a lfs and the compressor keeps running even though i set it at 25deg and the actual tank temperature is 24deg. the chiller keeps displaying 40+deg this in turn makes the compressor to switch on continuosly. bringing it back to the lfs tommorrow. bad experience for me.

Aquaticsg.com warrants it for a year and provides home servicing, and free delivery too if you order from them. Your LFS should compensate you in full or exhange for a new set.

bro is ur chiller connected to ur filter? if yes wat is ur filter's flow rate? if the flowrate is too low, that problem might occur and u would need an external thermosat probe.

In his case i think is thermostat problem. Even flowrate not enough it also won't have so much temperature difference ..

Ok just a update. Seem like 2 place is selling it www.aquatic.sg and Petmart.

Price should be in $330-360 range.

Last week i hooked a Ecco 2234 with a flowrate of 500L/H to this chiller and surprisingly the chiller kick in is still consistant from my observation. Previously i was using a 2228 with a flowrate of 1060L/H.
