A " Closed Loop" basically has two holes drilled in the tank. Which is connected to a pump, The water just gets sucked from one side, and Pushed through the other. So hence circulating the water. The holes I have is at bottom of tank to creat flow at bottom of tank, the loop is closed so no fear of flooding due to power cut ect.. hope this makes it clear I will update on how well it works too
