Ramshorn Snails..
have some query on this snail.. wad do they consume on? algae? fish poo? thankss

snails are basically scavengers, they feed on algae, dead leaves, left over fish food etc...but fish poo i dun think so, they more of become fertilizers for ur plants.....

As far as I know, no fish actually eat up fish poo. Its a long myth about the common pleco and now it has moved on to the shrimps and snails.
As mentioned, left to their own devices, they basically eat anything they can find. -Calvin |

ya. mine laid a lot of eggs.. now all the baby snails all coming out.

oh.. meaning after weeks need to remove some out? because it crawls around when they start breeding and look untidy..
any type of snails doesnt breed easily? but can help in a planted tank? those i see in LFS with horns selling for $1? |

mine is like infested with snails now. so i just remove most of the snails to control population..
