how big is ur pond? Rays will do good in big ponds or tanks.

make sure ur rays and aro is of about the same size.

have not change water in 9yrs????? better do a check on ur water parameter before buying ray

Do rays do well in a pond ?
Is your pond open air?? If so, there's always WC when raining right??

ph is important when comes to keeping rays as well as filtration. try keeping 1 motoro ray as a start and determine if its doing okay in the pond before committing to buying several rays. good luck on ray keeping.

Raining will only top up water.. it will not Water Change
Open pond have to take note of Ph as what many bros have mention. especially during the monsoon seasons

I have much to learn.
My RTC and arowanas have been quite happy in my pond - never checked the pH. I assumed that it is a balanced eco pond - so didn't check since all the fish were pretty happy and growing.
I think I'll have to hold off getting a ray - for now.

Yes, it is an open pond. Excess water just overflows into the sump. So, no water change.
