in the market there is alot of mix blood rays that are claim as pure breed,... so if your ray got mix blood it may not be so easy cus I use to have afew Leohenlei females but it is not so successful in breeding as my pure p13,.... cus not all p13 males are so willing to up female that are mix blood.

Hmmm tks bro....din know in fish world they also hv such discrimination....I can imagine hw scary it was for a p13 male to up a totally diff colored n diff patterned pearl rays w a long tail.....this male p13 must be a hardcore to do that lo

Base on the breeding habit. If pure bred always don up sp ray, then sp ray price should higher than pure bred as they are more difficult to come across.

bro Gorge,....its not always dont up the sp female,.. its if there is a p13 female in the tank / pound with the sp female the male will go after the p13 wich is from the same genes p13 rather than the sp,....like I have said not all p13 males are so willing to up the sp,... os there is still some who are willing too

ok I use to have about ten p13 males all are mature and working but only three of them are willing to up sp or other genes rays and that is provided theres no p13 female in that pound
