Another Way To Grow Plants
Hi guys just saw this & felt that its quite an interesting & easy way to grow plants. Its claimed to be the best way to quickly growing pre-made carpets

I summerise here in case the article gets lost in time. Buy a plastic container, put in some potting soil. Fill in water only up to slightly above soil level, I would guess just 0.5cm above. Lay your plants (small ones like HC or grass only) on the soil. Seal up container to water-tight conditions. Put in bright sunlight. When plants grow fully, take it out and repeat. |

planted the natural way
Hi Guys,
I have quit this hoobbies for few years. I have tried lohan during its hot season than guppies. discus. goldfish. and planted unfortunatelly all failed thats why i gave up. But after reading this thread by chance i decided to give it another shot at planted.Looks easy and not so complicated so has anyone tried please let me informed thanks. |

One point to note is that if you put the air tight sealed container under the sun, your plants will be likely to be cooked because of the high temperature.
Just imagine sitting in a car that parked under the sun without shade, close all the windows and do not on the air-con. Think if you can provide some air circulation and lower the temperature, this way will work, but the temperature is high, then will have to think of another way already |

I tried this method before for moss on driftwood. Basically I used pl lightings and cover the tank with those transparent plastic covers. This kept the humidity high and the moss grew without the need to tie it using string/ fishing line. Looks more natural and also easier to convert to submersed form.
