The reason why I asked is because I heard from someone that red should not maintain PH at 4-5 as too acid will cause fish to age fast which will cause wrinkles and short lifespan etc.

(Please don't quote me I just wanna clear this doubt) haha.

As for me, pasir ris, wanted ph is easy to control.. But is HARD! So Hard that I pray everyday for both my aros health.. I pray that they will be protected from the Hard water with a full helmet of Red!😆

Ive had a red before in a ph of 4.
I was wondering what was happening to the tankmates as they were getting cloudy eye, and the tigers were skinny.
I only tested the pH when i bought a new pleco and when i dropped it into the tank it died.
and found the ph to be at 4.

Yup she was still seating only got alight cloudy eye but did not suspect oh has dropped that low if the new pleco hadn't died

I'm staying in upper serangoon area. Water also quite hard. Tested my tap water reading was almost 8.

Thankfully people invented blackwater 😂
