Default Recommendation for canister filter

Hi bros,

I have a 5x2.5x2 feet tank, which hses 5x res of average 5 inch shell length. Filtration is currently 4 feet top filter by dolphin.. i intend to add on a canister filter for added filtration. Any recommendations for my current set up?

Eheim canister.
Dolphin top filter single layer only ? can opt for mr aqua ohf.. can add trays for additional filtration.

I will alsi vote for eheim. If is exoensuve but it will last you a long time, thus trouble free. You could do research on the Internet ehich model is suitable, or talk to major LFS to seek advice.

Im using a custom glass 6ft OHF for my 6x2.5x2 with a eheim 2080XL mainly for bio filtration. So far so good hope its helps. Cheers

Hi, the eheim 2080XL come with media. I got my from c328 auntie shop for $5**.

Bro inside this eheim model, are there four layers or five layers? Does it also come with a flow speed control?

Hi, if not wrong should be 3 trays and yes it has a flow control plus a window to see how strong the flow rate is. You may check again on eheim website to confirm. Cheer.
