Axolotl is quite rare nowadays.. + it's banned in sg.. i used to keep it before it banned.. kinda missed it

I doubt there is anything that looks like it that isn't illegal in Sg. Even fire belly newts are illegal here. If you manage to own one, do note that the water quality has to be maintained well due to its sensitive gills.

Yes cold water is required too....very sensitive to water parameters, not so easy to keep. Hardly seen a bigger piece around.

Hi bro
I seen it in Taiwan too, in my sailing days, is found in clean rivers in north part of the island, it hard to keep in tanks it have short live span if men kept. it belong to the salamander family- i seen it on tv at Discovery channel. |

cannot comm with fishes too, their external gill filaments will be eaten up until botak. used to have a yellow one long long ago.
