Okay StreetSmartBro. I'll wait and watch.

Well, I've fed him Hikari Silkworm frequently before he goes on fasting. He was munching it back to back. After a while he stopped feeding. Today I read that SilkWorm is just a treat and shouldn't be used as staple diet. Does this have any impact?

Try baby frogs?

If that fails, try adding iodide to tank

Helps appetite.

I'm afraid whether he have any internal infections now. He became very aggressive to his companion catfish and parrot.

He is 4 years old VSFR. Not yet tanned. 2 feet long (Goldfish for scale).

He is a beast bro! I have heard they can go a couple of months of non feeding, but u can understand how you feel. Maybe u wanna try some raw pork or beef (only lean meats). He looks healthy from the videos u showed.

Never feed live or pellet silkworm, gives them indigestion.

Google chitin

Oh! god. I'm almost convinced that he is going through chronic indigestion.

Small trace of poop sometimes hangs out at anus but doesn't drop. He opens his mouth wide very frequently (read in some other similar threads this as a symptom).

What should I do now? What could be the treatment?

If tummy not sunken, I would try Epsom salt.

If sunken, I would use seachem iodide + live feed baby frogs.

Atlast he broke the fasting!!!

He ate MP & lean chicken meat just now. All i did was as others advised, I stopped feeding Hikari SilkWorm and added ketapang leaves to tank. Thank god that he was not at chronic stage.

Thanks to everyone who consoled, advised and helped during this tough time. Special callouts to Ong88 and streetsmart bro.
