A newbie question.... not sure if comm-ing with Discus is ok?

Comming with discus shod be no problem. The only concern is the water parameter. i tried put a group of discus with my are.. end up only one can make it, and its been there for years!

I comm with quite a few discus. The key is to get one piece of discus 1st for testing and if aro didn't disturb it for a few months then you can gradually introduce other discus.

I have one long term resident in my Aro tank. So far so good. But the question is wats ur priorities? If it's aro, discus would grow big and nice. If it's disuss, best to have it on its own tank. My fishes seem to have a hierarchy with Aro on top and the rest below, they seem to know their place. Btw for ref, I have three red hook, one IT, one discus, one ff, one sun cat and one endi.

For discus comm as aro tankmates, suggest you have a planted tank setup with some decorated items for the discus to hide around and not being too stressful.

See many before but try not to buy too small a discus.
May end up being a very expensive meal for the discus

Try get semi or adult discus to com as they requires less attention than small ones. Current try not to be too strong .?
