Gymnogeophagus Caaguazuensis
Just got a pair from JZX this evening.
Reached home at 11pm, quickly let them out of the bag and into then tank after floating the bag for about 30min. The male start showing off after a while. Quite a surprise as it was probably the most timid one at JZX. Got hammered by the rest of the females in the same tank. About 2 hrs later, they started to breed. But the male got pretty aggressive after the spawning process was over. Starting to pick on the female. But things seems to settle down after a while, no more fighting. Hopefully the female will pick up and mouth brood should the eggs become wriggles later. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Good job! You spotted the pair before/when u purchase or just tikam tikam?
