XB fast? ? ? . . . IMO something to do with the upset stomach,?!? and maybe due to internal stomach infection and stop the urge of eating.

Aro go fasting can drive us up the wall really....patience the best way and do minor stuff to improve water should help (Ketapang, salt water change & etc).

Mine in the old tank that he/she (red) grew up in from 10" to 22" in slightly under 2 yrs and eating like everything 3 BF, 8-10 SW, 8-10 pcs mp a day.

Out grew the tank so change tank...and he fasted for 8 wks now only nibble nibble 1 BF / 2-3 SW and strangely no MP except the tail portion only with skin if everything peel out nicely he would spit it out.

Now just continue like that ...hope he gets back to old self....

Patience bro...no choice as long as still ok healthy..............

If it's true that he's got an internal stomach infection, which I was so afraid of, what would be sign of him being infected? Also, what treatment should I start look into? any side effect if treat for internal infection while he's not? I can't really pin point the problem and kinda taking a shotgun approach now.. as always, Thanks to all for your ideas/helps.

Well, he's still swimming back and forth, but once in a while saw him kinda let go and "float" with the head down, tail up higher for may be 3 seconds, then ballanced himself back to normal. don't know if he's getting weak because no food for such a long period, or something has gone wrong inside...

Maybe 1st stage of developing SBP due to some reason in itself. Well if is so than pray hard. Or unless someone here had cure SBP before?! SBP is like a cancel to Aro, sometime may stay like this forever and won't be fetal but some yes. i had a frz Red develop SBP for almost a year and was swimming 45 degree head down, but still eating normal and still growing.
