Hi bros,

I have a problem. My 4" New Guinea Tiger(NGT) is struggling. I saw him floating and I thought he is dead. But when I put my hands near him he moved a little and swim a little that is why I transferred him to a cycled hospital tank with lots of aeration and heated to 30deg celcius. I starved him for around 3 weeks already because he is not accepting market prawn. Do you think this is because of starvation? What should I do to save him? Right now he is like playing dead floating on the surface.

Thanks bros and please wish me luck.

Is the ngt under stress from other fish ? 3 weeks is a long time for 4 inch tiger. Why not give it any food it wants?

No, fish is not stressed by other fish. I am trying to train it to feed MP that is why I didnt feed it. Very huge mistake.

No chance for it to survive already? Will it eat if I gave him feeder fish?

NGT didnt eat the feeder shrimp. I just left the shrimp in the tank and pray that it will eat later. NGT floating on the surface and breathing with its slime coat shedding. I already separated it and added salt and heated the tank to 30deg celcius. What should I do now? Should I just leave it floating around? Its so sad to see him floating around like that.
