Default Help Needed For 9th National Flowerhorn Competition.

Flowerhorn Club Singapore is seeking volunteers to help in making the 9th National Flowerhorn Competition a success. Volunteers can be either Flowerhorn Club or AF members. Please put your name/nick in the list below if you are able to help.

Work Schedule

Setting up of Tanks on Thursday, 13/4/17 (No limit on number of volunteers)
Duties include setting up of tanks and stands, pipings, covers, lights, filters, heaters and filling up tanks with water. Help also required for putting up tank numbers and all the required signs within the competition arena.

Time Slot: From 11.30am till completion of set-up

Only personnel who are helping will be allowed to enter the competition arena during the bench-in period. Participants who are taking part in the competition can volunteer as you will be allowed to bench-in your fishes before the official bench-in time.

Photography of Fishes on Friday, 14/4/17 (2 volunteers needed)
2 experienced photographers are needed to take photographs of fishes during judging session and to label them in sequence by classes. The photographs will be used to prepare winners certificates.

2) Andersonlea (backup- free friday afternoon only)

Printing of Winners Certificates on Saturday, 15/4/17 (1 volunteer is needed)
Duty is to go to Katong Shopping Centre on Saturday (time to be advised) with a thumb-drive to print and laminate winners’ and sponsors’ certificates, collect them when they are ready, and deliver them to competition venue after that.

Prize Presentation on Sunday, 16/4/17 (2 volunteers are needed)
1 volunteer to MC the event and 1 volunteer to assist in handing prizes to presenter.

Time Slot: 5pm to 6pm

Bench-Out of Fishes on Sunday, 16/4/17 (8 volunteers needed)
Duties include assisting participants to bench out and pack their fishes, and manning oxygen tank. Members who are participants can volunteer but will have to bench-out their fishes after completing their duties.

Work Schedule

Setting up of Tanks on Thursday, 13/4/17 (No limit on number of volunteers)
Duties include setting up of tanks and stands, pipings, covers, lights, filters, heaters and filling up tanks with water. Help also required for putting up tank numbers and all the required signs within the competition arena.

Time Slot: From 11.30am till completion of set-up

Only personnel who are helping will be allowed to enter the competition arena during the bench-in period. Duties include registration, drawing of tank number, taking fishes from participants to place into the assigned tanks, checking fishes’ condition and the water in their bags. Participants who are taking part in the competition can volunteer as you will be allowed to bench-in your fishes before the official bench-in time.
