Default Low Maintenance Outdoor Goldfish Pond

My low maintenance outdoor goldfish pond. No water change for the past year. Just top up with tap water or from natural rainwater. Pandan plant roots absorb the waste from the goldfish. Using only simple internal pump with DIY filter.

Normal pleco to help clean algae on pond surfaces. Water is crystal clear with no green water problems

Nice pond.
How do you maintain the desired pH?

Coral chips. You can see them right beneath the filter.

The main thing I wanted to share is the no water change at all. Is it possible pandan plant so amazing that it can absorb all the fish waste? Previously I was using money plant but grew too fast and too messy.

I only top up water due to evaporation and on rainy days, the rainwater will top up for me.

Of course I do wash the DIY filter media once a week or once in 2 weeks.
