Just returned from BKK yesterday and made a suit with Paul Fashion.
Brought a copy of my old jacket, a shirt and a pair of pants as copy samples & chose the fabric there. Day 1:- wore the samples at the shop for them to have a look, they asked if it was too loose/too tight anywhere & will take down specific measurements where required to modify. For me as I put on some weight I needed some slight increase in the girth (pai-say). Told to return on Day 3 for fitting/collection. Day 3:- suit completed and went to the shop to wear for a final look for confirmation. As it was a copy with samples with slight modifications, the new clothes were a good fit so I was able to collect it back. Also ordered two more shirts with new fabric. Arranged to have the new orders delivered to hotel on Day 5 departure date. Day 4:- late in the evening when I returned to hotel room from late night movie I saw an envelope slipped under the door on the hotel room floor notifying to collect a parcel from the receptionist. The extra shirts ordered on Day 3 were delivered & I went down to the lobby to collect. Day 4 was a Sunday & the shop front was closed. So I thought maybe their workshop was still opened on Sunday or on Saturday they worked on the new orders but delivered on Sunday. either way I got the new orders on time, it was fitting with no adjustments required so I was able to pack into the luggage straight away that night. Overall pricing was:- Jacket 4,000B Shirt 1,000B Pants 1,500B |
