Remember many years ago some Singapore co sent out lawyer letter to unsuspecting young ppl (ok, kids in sch uniform) parents who dunno the copyright law saying they infringe and ask them pay?

I wonder if those who paid up counter-sued to get back their $$ after the courts ruled that there was no infringement when someone fought back.

I remember my laobu showing me the article and being super concerned abt what I was doing might be illegal.

I open the law statue + textbook and explain the whole copyright thingy bit by bit to her to explain why the company has no grounds to sue and ask for payment. And was 1st to show her the article when court ruled that there was no infringement.

She's also using the TV box now lor...

With SMART NATION, there will be SMART WAYS. Technology will not wait for ppl to catch up.

Regarding the box, even getting one wont kn at which time the drama or movie is showing. At the show recently, someone ask for example EPL, which team is playing at which apps, the promoter said that you have to click the apps and see.

The box is legal.
Apps are legal.
Apps that have been "jailbreak" or if you download the video file to watch later = illegal.

Otherwise, perfectly legal.

BTW hor.. in any case hor.. downloading the video file... not every tom dick and hairy can sue you.. for eg.. only TVB or TVB appointed personnel can sue you if you DL the whole show to watch at later time

Saw this Chromecast at Challenger store.

Read the info on the Mirror part ( Mirror any website). So does it mean I can display ANY streaming video fm my mobile phone and play it on the TV screen ?
