I cannot remember what is the min I think either 250k or 400k. These two numbers I cannot recall but dunno which one.

I just put in fd 1.2% in may bank and on top of that I get $100 taka vouchers.

So maybe interest rate going up soon.

unlikely as fed reserve rates hike likely delay, so personally feel banks will be careful not to raise their loan rates as related to fed reserves imho.
so now anybody's guess direction and thus personally feel fixed is more "safe" , based on my lousy financial skills

I dun owe bank any money now. But should I need to borrow, I will just use sibor package.

It also depending on the current offering of the variable and fixed % delta and your risk appetite. If difference less than 0.5% can consider fixed if got low risk appetite, else go for variable.
