What is the gap clearance between for the i-box to hang on top the tank?

Sorry I don't understand your question.

What i mean is the i-box is make up of 2 boxes,so the gap clearance between them?
And can the overflow box height adjustable?

I don't have the Box with me . I think it's about 2 inches apart. When I'm using it, I place a stroyfoam between the gap. There is a plastic screw holding the two boxes so as to make the internal box's height adjustable to your tank's water height.
