Fresh water Brackish water Saline water Brine
< 0.05 % 0.05 – 3 % 3 – 5 % > 5 %
< 0.5 ‰ 0.5 – 30 ‰ 30 – 50 ‰ > 50 ‰


i got this in Wiki..Basically salinity is the content of salt in the water. Normally salt is use only due to fish that is sick and i dun use salt for my tank.
i was told to be careful with salt as they do not evaporate means the more salt we put in the more saltish it will become. during the marine craze i've also remembered that i do not add in salt when the volume of water decrease but i will only top up by using age water.

hi all shifu. i use to keep LH during my sec school days. stop for 4 yrs? after see-ing my friend keeping some fishes and get to know this forum i got temp and goin to keep LH back. btw some question. if i goin to buy LH next week. i need to run my water 1st? i need to put in tinks like seachem prime and salt? i heard ppl puting some other fish like parrot in to run the water b4 placing LH in. please advice. =)

yea. can some shifu advice? i heard ppl puting in lot of CC to let PH buffer and believe it "help" to improve kok. but will too much of cc affect?

CC PH buffer only ..just make it your fish more song swim in your tank . can eat well ..
if add more mean can kok .. u buy 10 kg in lor... become very very big kok
