Discus and AA jumping out of open top tanks!
Is this possible? Has anyone experienced this?

It happens when water parameters are out the normal. either a bio-filter crash, too much clorine in water, or ph swing

Sometimes they jumped when spooked or during fights in the tanks.

When young read in a TFH angelfish book that the Amazon Indians beat the water with paddles and the angelfish will jump out of water into their canoe : catch with canoe paddle

You need to cover them. They do jump when stress.

Yes, very possible for angels or discus to jump. Water level not too high if no cover.

They don't jump in open water, all round brace will solve the problem.. But then ultimately it boils down to your water parameters...
