Bro Silane.........

Feel free to return me the unit, I need to do 1 free upgrade..
With 12 ltrs water volume it should cool it minimum 22 - 24oC..

I tested with tank size 48cm x 25cm x 28cm = 26 ltrs

I get the max cooling 24.1oC......

See attachment of picture.....

Bro, have you got any advice on how to cut the hole in the HOF? heh hope to learn from your mistakes.

I haven't got any electrical knowledge, just wondering if those CPU power supply units can be used? For example something that looks like this: http://auctions.yahoo.com/sg/i:LC-25...0Unit:98829462

U have to buy a electronic cutting device & cut it ....

As for power supply unit, I cnot read clearly on the output 12V how many amp power...

Computer power supply can be use, u need to connect the output supply of 12V - minimum 8Amp to yr DIY chiller ....

Oh ok.. do you think a normal drill can do the job? or will it destroy the whole filter?

Sorry I dunno anything about electricals, but this is what the PSU says:
3.3V 14A Orange
5V 20A Red
12V 8A Yellow

There are like 20 different kind of colourful wires coming out of the PSU! If yellow means 12V, does that mean i can just cut away the rest of them? And also how do I tell which is the positive end and negative end?
