Thumbs up Caudopunctatus spawn!

Actually caught me by surprise as i was wondering if they had paired up or not because no breeding activity was observed after 2 long months but they finally bred so here are the pictures

the eggs---best shot i could get, there are actually about 10plus in there

Congrats man, I keep trying and they keep dying

Do update us when they turn into fries.

yes...because they laid eggs in the shell opening directly facing the front haa

sure thing really shocked to see them breed too...my first success at breeding tanganyikan fish too lol

Congrats on the spawn, glad that you have been rewarded for your patience.

Never saw their eggs before, only knew they were spawning when I saw a cloud of fry. Keep us updated

i feed NLS small fish formula to my ocellatus fries. they accept it readily
