Thats a lot to pay for a HDB flat.

It all boils down to affordability and needs.

From a 3 rm to a Jumbo is a big big jump.

If both working adults and earning more than 10K, should be ok. But will then be working to pay the HDB. Not so worth it to me.

But at least, you have a existing 3 rm to buffer compared to those first timers.

For the tampines DBSS, i think sure got people buy the 880K 5 rm one cos majority of the singaporean are in fact very rich.

Lets see.

160k i think its too much. Not many people are willing to pay such high COV. Anyway i believe the resale market has just enter the cooling off market. Would wait and see and source around if i were you.

That is crazy, if you really like the unit, just offer the amount you are willing to pay and can afford...

I feel that the cov will be too much. Got to consider reno also as old flats will need some touch up here n there. The loan repayment of 600k will maybe be a stretch if touch wood, one party lose the job? Hope you do consider carefully.

Having said all these, if this house really click with you , love at first sight, do go for it.

I beg to differ- not just touch-up but MAJOR rewiring of WHOLE flat + change of ALL sanitary fittings also might as well do up waterproofing cos they last on average of 10-12yrs
