Burundis are suppose to have some degree of blue, please do not be misled to think that it is any different from a normal burundi.

That being said, looks like quite a fine specimen without any mooning.

Burundis are burundis.....maybe bedok burundis or hougang burundis or tampines burundis only.

That piece imo looks likely to be a potential female though.

There is no such thing as a blue face burundi... Is that what the shop was trying to sell it to you as?

This is like any of the other burundis in your tropheus and front tank.

Frontosas Burundis are just burundis or frontosas la.....no such thing as blue frontosas or anything else. Like the grandmaster has said....burundis has a tinge of blue somewhere. Unlike the Cyphotilapia gibberosa which sometimes we called them 'moba blue' or 'blue zaire' moba etc, but that's a different class altogether....as they will command prices of at least $200++ for a juvenile. Burundis however will cost only $8~$12 for a juvenile and less than $50 for a full adult.

Tanganyikans are a niche market and like I said before, noone will mistakenly price a moba for a Burundi price or a African shipment tanganyikans at Taiwan prices. That being said, ALL tanganuikans are nice fishes, whether its a Burundi or moba, whether they are Taiwan or African stocks. A fish is still a fish lo....fishlovers like me will enjoy keeping even lonkang fishes.

Thanks for the info, anyway is moba so expensive because of their limited In stock? $200 for Jueville is a lot.
