I just got a new version of the Profantec. Casing and screw parts are plastic. its lighter and comes in 2 fan rotary unit. More durable in a sense that it wont rust.
Got it at $36 bucks. |

no pic at the moment. the profantec cost around 30 bucks but its only 1 rotary fan (and metal parts), so I gave some thoughts and go for the 2 fan plastic casing (same brand SUNON) which is more worth the purchase.

Wow.. 2 lights? What's the total W? Btw, i feel that the fan put at 45 degree facing down will cool down the temperature more. As evaporation causes cooling, 45 degree will evaporate the surface water faster. Hope this might help

I took out one light last night, so just leaving the 36w light on. with fan tilted at about 30 degrees.
Total of 2 fan units (4 rotary). Able to cool down to 25 degrees. |

Oh.. icic 36W for 2ft is alright i guess.. 25 degC is gd enough for fan.
How about noon time? Usually my tank's temp from 5am - 11am is 24.5Deg, 11am-5pm 25.5-26DegC, then maintain at 25.5Deg through the evening and night |

Wow you can achieve that low temp average? Whats your tank size?
Mine actually now drops to 26 - 27 as weather is getting hotter. Plus I stay at 2nd storey only. |

MY tank is 1.5ft, staying on the 14th floor of HDB flat.. but my surrounding has no Flats or Building, so its very windy year round, jus that noon time the temp will rise abit, but at least there is warm wind
