My inlaws had about six to eight of these giants in a pond. Unfortunately, only one survived. Its now housed in a 6x2x2 all by itself and its about 18". Eats pellets and very responsive to humans. Fierce fella, will try to nip your hand when you stick it in the tank. Its not the best looking fish, but it sure is adorable! Will take a pic and post here if I can get a good shot of it.
