but i agree, fish should be enough if we can't be hedonistic to the hilt

hmm...the tank looks like 2 ft or so...will they be stunt or slower growth?

I will add my collection here too. Total 18 pieces - Reds, golds and some from c328 labelled as red but grow up having black tail (same as those mentioned by spakase). Have some more in another tank.

Default seaview kelah

went to Seaview this afternoon...saw that in the display tank at main entrance , there are some abt 1 ft kelah with very nice silvery scales....looks like a shark's tooth...kinda triangle shape...body are long and rather compressed...snout is rather pointed......Any bros like to shed some light on what kelah is it?? like to get my hands on these kelah....

left of main entrance, there are 2X 1.5 ft red kelah...

Initially got only a few to try out, then one week later went back and saw there are still a lot left and decided to take in some more.

Default Golden Mahseer

My one and only one Golden Mahseer has grown quite a bit, has doubled its size since I got it a few weeks ago, now is a bout 4.5-5". The tail showing some red colour.



Mahseer with $3 Silver Tip which also has grown a bit.

I actually have a growth plan for them. I find that they are easier to rear and survive as fries in a smaller tank. Next a 2 or 3 ft tank and finally ending up in a 5ft tank.

This entire growth plan i presume (at the current growth rate of mid-adult speciment) will take est 5 to 8 years bah - a long way to go for the mahseer. Their growth rate slowed down a lot when they reach around 6 iches and even slower growth rate was observed for thai blue.

Hi all, my golden kelah suddenly passed away this morning. i really not sure wat causes the death. In that big tank of mine, i got 2 golden kelah, 2 blue kelah, and 3 so call black kelah (got black outline at tail). all fishes in the tank was doing ok, and they are eating yesterday night when i feed them.. however this morning i saw DEATH!!! really not sure wat had happened. no wounds no nothing..
