Bro Rigil, Welcome to goldfish keeping, btw as some other bros has previously highlighted, do not feed your fishes while they're still under quarantine. They can survive the quarantine periods without feeding. Keep us posted and enjoy your ranchus |

That depends on hobbyist, but I would say generally should be at least 1 week.
Feed sparingly and feed minimal for several times, instead of large feeds. Different hobbyist has different feeding regime. But depends on the size of your pellets and ranchu. If they are still growing you can feed them like 4 - 8 times a day maybe not 1 teaspoon but make sure they can finish all the pellets in 1 min. That's my habit. I fed my fishes 6 - 8 times a day but mixture of bloodworms and vege like wall algae or spirulina pellets, etc etc. try to set a feeding regime for them and monitor them. Keep good water and don't overfeed them. Then they should do well. |

Eh guys one of my gold fish died. no idea what the reason is. when i came home it was just facing downwards not moving, or rather it flows with the little current in the water.
And i went to buy 2 more! |

well...if you got no extra tanks to seperately quarantine....just add 0.5% salt to main tank and Do not feed for 24 hours...after which if they are ok..start with light feeding....
if they develop anything, just treat according during this crucial acclimatization period. |
