Default Albino Angelfish vs Albino Dantum

Looking at both fishes, it makes me wonder how different both fishes look. I love altum angels for their contrast in stripes and size as compared to normal Angelfish. However, for Albino Dantum, do they grow as big as altums? To me, from far, it does not look very much different from Albino Angelfish (except for the faint stripes), but the price difference between the two are extreme.

What's your view and take on Albino Dantum and Albino Angelfish? Do you think Albino Dantum is worth the premium price in the market?

Once start breeding and start selling to market will definitely drop. Then will be priced like normal Angels.

Don't think price will drop to be the same as normal Angels. Afterall, it is still considered as "premium" quality.

Arowana used to be premium as well but look what happened. The value dropped like to 10-20% of what it used to be.

I think the golden aro price suffers the most.

My two cents of thoughts:

Price for pet is very much depending on the Demand (D) and Supply (S) in the market.

We have seen the prices fluctuation of Flowerhorn, Discus, Aro, Ray, Betta etc. etc.

Once the D & S is balance, the sellers and buyers will then set a stabilized market price

Well said.

Anyway today I saw a few Altums released in a few fish shops.

Looks like seasons back.

However the ph according to the fish shop owners is about 5-6ph.

Any shops selling the altums with ph range of 6.5 to 7.5?
