Blind fish
hi there
Can anyone there please advise me how do i know if my pearl scale is blind? if it is then how do i feed him? |

rather interesting post. what made you suspected that the fish is blind in the first place? Can show pix? Probably it's due to cloudy eye(s) which can be easily overcome.

thank for your reply. i tried place a rubber tube very near to the eye but it did not move away, also i used a fish net capture him but he did not try to get away. i attached a pic of my pearl scale. |

doesn't look blind to me , you can try putting it in a tank by itself , and feed , if it can find food , shouldn't be a problem

thank you for the reply. i tried to keep him at one side of my pond and feed him but he cant find and dont want to eat. |

Just a normal looking Pearl Scale and don't look blind to me. Maybe stress bro? You should check him out.

looks fine, just that the eye looks abit more poppy, my pearl started eating after 1 day.. day 3 he was gulping 3 pellets at one go... haha... relax bro.. maybe ur water not that good? or he is jus a slow hunter bah...
