I agree with using cylinder CO2. DIY tend to give irregular amount of CO2 which would be quite a headache

Bro, mind sharing some shots of your DIY CO2 setup, inside and outside of the tank? Am setting up my planted too and not too sure where to start placing all the equipment, coz it's my first time. Am using disposable CO2 canisters.

make sure the hole in the bottle cap is slightly smaller than the air tube. i add glue on it to prevent co2 from escaping. as u can see there's a bottle "2". it's like a filter, to prevent the solution from entering ur tank. the inlet tube should reach the base of the bottle, while the outlet should be near the cap. shake the bottle with solution every few days, cuz the yeast will stuck at the base. hope this helps |

Do you use a check valve in your CO2 line? How do you control the amount of CO2 going in to the tank? Do you think it's necessary to add in a bubble counter?

Would love to see step by step on how you create this masterpiece. How do you manage to blend plants and hardscape together? Piece by piece? Where do you tie the nanas?
