I thought the ball was never going in until Lingard produced another good goal. Finally Lukaku scored.

Mhki was below par again.
Their keeper was in top form and Rashford hit the woodwork twice. Pogba missed an open goal.
The lads worked hard for a 2-0 win scored by Lingard, the player in top form at the moment and Lukaku and avoid a dreadful replay.

Into the next round of the FA cup with a good performance and a well deserved 9 days rest, hope our injured players will come back stronger and help us tackle the 2nd half of the campaign

Although it was a pretty comfortable victory, our strikers need to be more clinical to finish off their task. Many wasteful attempts at goal, until JL redeemed the game with a beautiful volley and the quick counter attack by AM and RL to make the score 2-0
Against top oppositions, if we are creating such attacking flair but ends up missing most of the attempts we may not be able to win games like that.

Hope no new player will come in this Jan window to allow the existing players to step up and get some youngsters to play when required. A time to discover similar or better quality player like Rashford, Mitchell and Gomes to come forth.

if die die must get in new player then rather wait for more quality players to be available during Summer window.

When Derby was taking corner kicks, Lukaku was not in the United box marking but was just outside the penalty box somewhere in the middle. This was probably due to his errors when goals were conceded in recent matches.
