Dose MG up slowly to 1300-1400
before you do any other thing

you got to stop your CR running and monitor your kh closely. let it drop till 7-8 and maintain it there. at the same time you dose ca and raise not more than 25ppm a day.

Hi Gary, I'm using those pH monitor set, maybe the probe needs calibration or some cleaning.

First, I should off my CR and raise my Mg to 1300 range.
Second, I dose kalk and Ca (not exceeding 25ppm/day) to bring the pH and maintain Ca.

And also to do a calibration on the pH probe

yup....after u bring them down to back to normal lvls..try to tune your cr to put in less ca and kh..means reduce drip rate and bubble rate...or another way is to add MORE sps

1. calibrate your ph probe first and confirm the reading... if 7.5 (just wonder can your sps survival )

2. if your ph is in the good range, than you don't have to dose kalk. kalk won't rise much of your ca. dose ca additive to raise up your ca slowly to 400ppm-440ppm.

3. let your kh drop slowly. once reach the desire reading, maintain it there.

4. watch our your mg. your reading seem ok. just keep your eye on it this few days

I like the idea of adding more sps , but my pocket does not allow me to do that , so i'll try to reduce the bubble count. But in the mean time, i've stop CR completely and try to add kalk to bring the pH and Ca up first.

That is good news.
Now dose your CA which is too low.
Should be between 400-450.
But still need to monitor your MG also.
If your MG drop again,you need to dose
your MG again

Hee hee.. sps still alive, but not kicking

I'm dosing kalk and Ca additive at the same time

My Mg seems to drop approximately 15ppm/day
