yeap it is. im not sure about the circulation but its being placed in my HOB filter.. which has the most circulation.. right now its able to skim some light brown - brown skimmate for me.. not much but IMO, at least better than no skimmer.. but i still make sure i do 5% WC every 2 - 3 days to maintain good water quality.

Simple update..
i have been hunting nice colorful zoas high and low and honestly, been stocking up pretty fast.. luckily my tank is fishless and i do 5% WC every 2 - 3 days and my tanks and corals are coping very well.. Today i bought more zoas and found out that i indeed am running out of space.. so i made a frag station out of egg crates and suction cups.. i use Superglue to glue the suction cup to the eggcrates. Since the back portion of my tank iss empty so i decided to put my frag station there... As you can see from this photo, bought some frag plugs and shifted some of my small frags of zoas on to the station.. only worry will be fishes will have less swimming space and the lighting may be too intense for the zoas. Next to share my newly acquired zoas.. Radioactive green. orange green zoa. Next, the rest of my zoas collection.. my 2 fav are on the left.. Mohawk and the green zoas.. this mohawk glows purple skirts with bright orange center under blue light.. its a pity my camera cant capture it well |

My GSP.. planning to glue it to my surface skimmer and let it spread over it.
Some sort of gonipora? opening well and seems to grow pretty fast Hammer coral.. noticed this fella likes to extend its tentacle and try to reach out for my rics and zoas.. my hardworking astera snails. Now for the FTS.. noticed the frag station at the back.. pure blue light. Still waiting for my E27 socket adapter to arrive so i can change the light set! |
