PHOTO UPDATES

noticed most of my HC bubbling but some of them are melting

the only 1 plantlet of glosso seems to be growing, maybe it can spread into a SMALL patch of lawn, behind the HC giving it a "layering" kind of feel btwn the 2 lawn plants

FTS

Bubbling!

I suggest you tie some rocks to the wood instead of stacking the the bowl. Some bogwood are stubborn and will not sink for months! So the bowl might be there for awhile.

haha, thanks for the advice.

i'll try to let it soak for afew more days and see how is it, then i'll tie a rope. cos taking up the wood is going to mess up my water again!

did notice the wood's density increase (the wood seems to take longer to dislodge and float) and hope it would fully sink in soon.

anyway, if my moss die i'll take the wood up to retie so i might as well tie a rock

Did a little rescape, removed one of the driftwood as i find them too messy.

Added some stargrass (Heteranthera zosterifolia) and narrow leaf ludwigia (Ludwigia aruata) and ludwigia cuba (Ludwigia inclilata ' Cuba ') as well as a red tiger lotus (Nymphaea zenkeri). Most of them are from courtesy of some of the bros in AQ

a little no-so-clear-at-all picture. will try to get hold of a better camera agin

had an ammonia shock as i didn't know that my fishfood water powdered form not pellets! poured a lot in. scooped up quite a bit. i thought it would be alright... however it caused 9 / 15 of my otocinclus to die. sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh heart very pain!

approx 20cherries and malayan shrimps gone as well. did a 20% water change last night and the shrimps and otos seems to be eating again. whew!

no more casualties this morning! yay!

a lesson learnt the hard way
