My precious kois
finally went into the pond to catch my precious and managed to get some pictures for sharing.
all these are from ah seng in my tiny 6 ton pond. tancho - unfortunately hi beginning to spread faster than its size. one of the best body shaped in my pond. shiro - one of my favourite, due to flawed deisign of my pond, scales dropping off after hitting my deck repeatedly during feeding. also tiny little orange spots appearing after 2 months. showa - same as shiro, got injury on its "y" sumi due to my decking. eats the most thus have a huge tummy. asagi - smallest growing among the rest still currently at 15cm. got injury on its scales at the top of head. very shy and timid. kohaku - my only kohaku in my pond. currently at 20cm and should be emerging into a big fish patttern. all comments are welcome...... melvin |

ogon - one of the skinnest among all due to interest in algae instead of pellets. colour is still managing though.
Sanke - doesnt eat much, fortunately no injury on its head ginrin sanke - follow the sanke like a twin brother, also doesnt eat much, currently at 15cm. not much growth chagoi - grown the biggest of the lot. from 18cm to 28cm in 1 & half months. yamabukis - test kois from ah seng. currently at 10cm and 13cm. lastly - me in action over an hour just to get my precious some nice pictures. thks for your comments. cant remember where i hear it from (probably some U.S. koi forum). if shiro got orange spots can try applying lime/lemon over it and it will disappear after a few treatment.
not sure if anyone tried it before ? anyway not particular, if orange spots come out just rename - showa......hehe. melvin |
