Infact most of my friends say I over kill for shrimps nia. But having plants in there make it look better and more enjoyable to view.

Latest FTS! tank went black-out for 2 days due to LED's adapter spoilt.. managed to fixed it and its back on now.. Jap hg abit yellowing though.

Thanks bro. Nope, Seachem matrix is bio-media so its good to stay. Beneficial bacteria colonize in the media if i were to replace them, all my shrimps will die.. the only thing needed to be replaced monthly is actived carbon.. which i don't put in my tank.

Ahh my friend buff me. He told me had to change every 2 to 3 month. So end up I bought Biohome+. Hope that brand is good also.

Actually bacterial will develop on any surface given. It's how effective the media used so that growing of these benefical bacterial make easier.

yeap! i personally chose seachem matrix cause its stone shape is small in size so can squeeze more into the HOF.
